A robot vacuum moves around your home by itself and picks up crumbs and dust. For many older people this is a real help, because there is no more bending down.
What to check before you buy
- How high are your door thresholds and carpet edges?
- Does the robot fit under your furniture?
- How easy is the dust container to empty?
- Do you need an app, or are there buttons on the device?
How to prepare your home
- Clear cables and small objects off the floor.
- Secure the stairs. Most robots detect edges, but check this the first time.
- Do not leave carpet fringes lying around.
Care
Empty the container regularly and remove hair from the brush. That keeps the robot fit for a long time.
Setup
The robot often needs an app on your phone and a map of your home. We set this up for you and show you how to start it. We also get window-cleaning robots and robot lawnmowers going.
RememberA tidy floor is half the job for the robot.
