You use LuxTrust to log in to your bank or to MyGuichet. That is why scammers are especially keen on these details. They send emails and text messages that look almost real.
What LuxTrust does not do
LuxTrust says so itself: you will never be asked by email or text message to update personal details. Nor will you be asked for passwords or credit card details.
What to do
- Do not tap links in such messages.
- Do not reply.
- Delete the message and report it to LuxTrust and your bank.
- If in doubt, call them directly.
Have you entered your details?
Call your bank and LuxTrust at once. LuxTrust is on +352 24 550 550. The sooner, the better. This happens to very careful people too.
When does your certificate really expire?
You can check this yourself without tapping a link in a message. Type luxtrust.com yourself and go to MyLuxTrust. Under "Test my certificate" you can see how long it is valid after logging in. We can also show you this at home.
RememberNever enter your codes because a message tells you to.
